<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively carry out a color slurring correction for occurrence of color slurring in various cases such as variation in an installed environment, an unpredicted shock and an exchange of an optical scanning apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A pattern for color slurring instrumentation (a) has a reference color and a color which is an object of the color slurring correction output superposed in a color slurring instrumentation direction and a vertical direction and the color slurring is made easily recognized in a multi-color image forming apparatus. By superposing outputs in the color slurring instrumentation direction as shown in (c), the color slurring can be made easily recognized. Furthermore, a plurality of patterns for color slurring instrumentation are placed in a vicinity of a position where the color slurring instrumentation is carried out so that the color slurring can be easily recognized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
