The arrangement (32) has an actuator (52) for actuating an intermediate electric contact unit i.e. conducting plate (46), that is fixed on a printed circuit board (36) by its fixed portion (48) and support lugs (74, 76) using surface mount technology. The fixed portion and one of the support lugs are arranged on both sides of an intermediate portion (62) extended above the printed circuit board. A main flexible portion (50) and an auxiliary flexible portion are formed in an extension of the intermediate portion towards a distal end of the conducting plate. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a switch arrangement.
