<p>Technology for supplementing guide information with a simple structure even in the case of deficiency of guide information is provided in a device receiving a broadcast wave, reproducing a program and displaying guide information. The receiving device receives the broadcast wave where the program and attached data are multiplexed from a broadcast station, and extracts guide information from the received attached data. In the case of deficiency of the guide information extracted from the attached data, the receiving device makes a connection to a server indicated by the attached data so as to acquire a web page supplied by the server, generates guide information from the web page and complements the guide information.</p> |
