PURPOSE: A detachable keel block for the ship construction and a tandem drying method of a ship using the same are provided to reduce the drying time and the cost of a ship since a drying process delay due to the supply and the discharge of the additional seawater for the re-arrangement of a keel block can be removed. CONSTITUTION: A detachable keel block(10) for the ship construction comprises a body(100) and a permanent magnet(101). The body comprises a cavity(100a) to be able to float on the seawater. A magnet mounting groove(100b) is formed from the upper part to the lower part of the body. The permanent magnet is inserted into the magnet mounting groove to be able to detachably attach the body to the lower surface of the ship and is formed to be able to be switched. The keel block is installed in a dock and supports the ship, which is being constructed in the dock.
