PURPOSE: An elevating slider and an article storage locking device thereof are provided to be used as a locking metal regardless of the insertion of a coin by using a single locking device. CONSTITUTION: A frame(70) forms a coin insertion panel. A master cylinder and a user cylinder are installed to the frame. A latch(22) is drawn in and out from the frame. A linking lever(32) is circulated by the manipulation of the user cylinder and activates the latch. A coin checker(18) is rotatably installed in the coin insertion panel. When a coin is not inserted, the checker disables the manipulation of the user cylinder by restricting the rotation of the lever. An elevation slider(100) detaches the user cylinder from the frame by being ascended and descended by the manipulation of the master cylinder.
