摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the voltage utilization factor of an inverter by simple operation, and to achieve the high-speed operation of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: This motor drive unit 3 comprises: a current control part 12 that generates a voltage command value v* from a current error between a current command value I* generated by a speed control part 11 and a current value detected by a current detection part 9; a tertiary harmonic phase compensation part 18 that compensates the phase of the tertiary harmonic of the voltage command value v*; a tertiary harmonic operation part 19 that leads out the tertiary harmonic from the magnitude of the voltage command value v* and the compensated phase of the tertiary harmonic; and a voltage command correction part 16 that corrects a voltage by adding the led-out tertiary harmonic to the voltage command value v*. An output voltage of the inverter 5 can be made maximum by compensating a phase difference between the voltage command value v* and the tertiary harmonic by the tertiary phase compensation part 19, and the voltage utilization factor of the inverter 5 can be improved without causing the cost increase of an operation means such as a microcomputer by simple operation, thus achieving the high-speed operation of the motor 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
