The present improvement in the system for collecting pig slurry simplifies the method for cleaning pig farms, since the slurry is collected with the same water content and disposed in a pit located far from the farmyard, where the same is to be collected by a truck which leads the same to a central plant in order to be treated and disposed. The inventive system may be operated by a logical sequence for opening and closing the valves and a logical sequence for stopping and starting the vacuum blower. The system may work under vacuum conditions during suction and pressure conditions during discharge. The purposes of the cleaning system are the following: 1. Reducing the consumption of water for cleaning farmyards down to 80%. 2. Reducing the weight and volume of the residues down to 80%. 3. Reducing costs of transport to a centralized treating plant, this giving the opportunity to small pig farmers to obtain incomes by carbon bonus resulting from the economies of scale of the centralise d plant, in case of forming part of the shares for the plant construction. 4. However, in case of not participating in the point 3, the points 1 and 2 will provide certain advantages over the traditional cleaning system.
