PURPOSE: A method for detecting a collision with a moving route and producing a progress point of a three coordinate measuring machine is provided to automatically correct and produce a program by producing a safe moving route. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting a collision with a moving route and producing a progress point of a three coordinate measuring machine is as follows. A moving route of a measuring sensor is calculated by loading a cad data of an object and shape information of the measuring sensor. If the moving route comprises the movement of the measuring sensor, a collision is checked by confirming a collision check option(S3). When the collision is detected, a progress point is produced by confirming a progress point option(S5).
