PURPOSE: A resonant column and torsional shear testing device for a great shear modulus is provided to calculate a shear modulus by generating shearing force when an earthquake is generated. CONSTITUTION: A resonant column and torsional shear testing device for a great shear modulus comprises a base plate(70), a support, an upper cap, a drive plate(42), a magnet(40), and an acceleration measuring unit(50). The base plate is fixed to a floor. The support has a base platen(81) and a cylinder rod(82). The upper cap is attached on the top end of a sample. The drive plate is attached on the upper cap and is rotated. The magnet is attached on the drive plate. The acceleration measuring unit is attached on the drive plate and measures acceleration. |
