PURPOSE: A medium for culturing plant cells containing plant-derived protein hydrolysate and a method for preparing a large amount of recombinant protein are provided. CONSTITUTION: A medium composition for producing recombinant protein of transgenic plant containing a promoter and gene encoding a target protein contains 0.01-30 g/L of protein hyrolysate derived from plants. The culture is semi-batch process or the fed-batch culture. The hydrolysate is rice, wheat, cotton, gluten, or soybean-derived protein hydrolysate. The promoter is RAmy3D promoter. A method for producing a target protein from a transgenic plant comprises: a step of adding plant-derived protein hydrolysate to the medium; a step of culturing the transformed plant cells in sugar-rich medium; and a step of producing the recombinant protein from the culture.
