PURPOSE: An impurity removal and drainage device for a bridge expandable joint is provided to normally operate an expandable joint device by rapidly discharging and removing foreign materials at the edge of an expandable joint on a road. CONSTITUTION: An impurity removal and drainage device for a bridge expandable joint comprises an expandable joint material for impurity removal, a base container(40), a collecting container(20), and a draining duct(30). The expandable joint material for impurity removal is detachably installed on an edge of the expandable joint between first and second bridge slabs. One or more inflow holes(13) are formed in the expandable joint device. The base container is installed on the bottom of the expandable joint material for impurity removal. The collecting container is detachably is inserted inside the base container. The collecting container collects the foreign material(S) and water. |
