PURPOSE: An audio output device and an audio output method are provided enforce music or sound signals, thereby recognizing audio signals in noisy situations. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(16) obtains an audio signal from a memory(11). The control unit obtains a noise source from the surroundings through a neighbor noise acquisition module(12). Based on the intensity of an audio signal, the intensity of acquisition module, and the direction of the noise source, the control unit changes the intensity of the audio signal through a signal amplifier(14). The control unit outputs an intensity-changed audio signal to a audio signal output module(15).
