The needle is movable from an initial position based on a motion profile in which the needle moves a distance followed by a rest period, and another motion profile in which the needle is returned to the initial position. An activation facility with manually-actuated trigger elements (13, 14) initiates a motion of the needle in accordance with one of the motion profiles.
