FEEDBACK IN MEDICAL ULTRASOUND IMAGING FOR HIGH INTENSITY FOCUSED ULTRASOUND

PURPOSE: A feedback in medical ultrasound imaging for high intensity focused ultrasound is provided to detect the speed of a shear wave at different location of an organization by measuring a time from generation to detection of a shear wave. CONSTITUTION: A transmission beam generator(12) generates a diverging wave for rapid scanning. An ultrasonic transducer(24) generates the medical treatment waveform of high intensity. A receive beam generator(16) outputs data from spatial location through the function of a received signal. A processor(18) calculates the operation displacement of an output data function. A display(20) displays the image of a beam profile.
