PURPOSE: Quantum dots and a light emitting element using the same are provided to be non-reactive with respect to external environment by being dispersed into an organic solvent and being encapsulated. CONSTITUTION: A multilayered quantum dot(20) includes a core-shell-solvent(21)-outermost shell(22) based structure. A CdTe/CdS quantum dot or a CdSe/ZnS quantum dot is dispersed in an organic solvent. The CdTe and the CdSe are cores, and the CdS and the ZnS are shells. Silica sol made of TEOS is added in the dispersed solution and is stirred. A (3-Aminopopyl) triethoxysilane solution is added to the stirred solution. Distilled water is eliminated by centrifugation. A dry process is followed.
