PURPOSE: A silicon-polymer composite, a manufacturing method thereof, and a negative electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery including thereof are provided to remarkably reduce the thickness increasing rate of the electrode by the rechargeable reaction of the battery. CONSTITUTION: A silicon-polymer composite includes silica particulates dispersed in a polymer matrix. A manufacturing method of the silicon-polymer composite comprises the following steps: preparing a monomer mixture containing a conductive additive, a monomer, and the silica particulates; inserting the monomer mixture to a solution containing a water-based dispersion, and adding the shear force for suspension polymerizing; and washing and collecting the polymerization reaction outcome. |
