PURPOSE: An air-conditioner is provided to prevent the heating performance from becoming decreased if the air-conditioner operates in a state the outdoor temperature is very low. CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioner(1) comprises a compressor(10), a condenser, an expansion device(30), an evaporator, a bypass pipe(70), a refrigerant heating apparatus(100), and valves(71,91). The compressor compresses the refrigerant. The condenser condenses the condensed refrigerant. The expansion device expands the condensed refrigerant. The evaporator evaporates the expanded refrigerant. The bypass pipe passes the refrigerant discharged from the condenser to the inlet of the compressor. The refrigerant heating apparatus heats the refrigerant, which flows through the bypass pipe. The valve controls the refrigerant flow to the bypass pipe. The refrigerant heating apparatus comprises a refrigerant pipe and a heating unit. The heating unit is installed on the outer surface of the refrigerant pipe and comprises a carbon nano tube heater. |
