IMPEDANCE CONTROL CABLE CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector assembly capable of being adjusted to provide controlled impedance to both ends of each signal core wire of a connector.

SOLUTION: The connector includes a plane connector body 20 made of an insulating material which has a plurality of channels in the longitudinal direction that are constructed so as to receive contact of a socket. The connector assembly is constituted of a plurality of plane connector bodies and a support rod which fixes these plurality of plane connector bodies in a state of stacking the plane connector bodies. Each of the connector body has two edges in longitudinal direction, a front edge, and a back edge, and at least one of the edges in the longitudinal direction has an engagement face, and the engagement face is aligned when the plurality of connector bodies are stacked mutually one another. The support rod is constructed so as to engage certainly the engagement faces of the plurality of connector bodies aligned.
