<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for identifying surgical port size. <P>SOLUTION: An access device for surgery can include a proximal housing and a distal retractor which is provided with a plurality of sealing ports mounted in the housing. The access device for the surgery can also include at least one identifier which is configured to shows the sizes of the sealing ports.
