PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device enabling delivery of a printed product suspended by a clamp of a first transfer device to a clamp of another transfer device after changing its direction. SOLUTION: In this method for changing the direction of the printed product 3 conveyed in the form of a transfer flow on a transfer path 2, the printed product 3 is held by a delivery device 12 inserted respectively in the front face and the rear face of the printed product 3 in the form of transfer flow 18 from the side of a peripheral edge region for holding the printed product 3 before the transfer ending part of the first transfer device 5, and the direction is changed on a direction changing section 11 formed in an arc shape on the transfer path 2. Then, it is delivered to the closable clamp 14 of another transfer device 15 driven almost in the same direction with the peripheral edge region 76 of the printed product 3 on the opposite side of the held peripheral edge region 6.
