METAL OXIDE FINE PARTICLE DISPERSION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide metal oxide fine particle dispersion which is not flocculated even when being compounded in an acrylic resin and shows excellent transparency and mechanical properties after a film is formed. SOLUTION: A metal oxide is subjected to bead mill treatment using a silane coupling agent in an organic solvent and ultrasonic wave treatment by adding an isocyanate compound having a polymerizable group to the resultant dispersion. Thereby, the metal oxide fine particle dispersion is obtained, wherein the surfaces of metal oxide fine particles are modified by polymerizable functional groups. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
