<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder lock protecting device capable of improving operability by performing the blocking operation of a shutter by the energizing force of an energizing means and restraining the shutter from being blemished or the like in a process of moving into a blocking position. <P>SOLUTION: The cylinder lock protecting device is provided with a housing 1; the shutter 3 blocking a keyhole 2a in the blocking position and opening the keyhole 2a in the opening position; a locking means for locking the shutter 3 in the blocking position; and an unlocking means that releases locking by the locking means. The cylinder lock protecting device includes a torsion spring 12 energizing the shutter 3 constantly into the blocking position; an engaging protrusion 6a locking the shutter 3 in the opening position; and release means (6, 2b) releasing the locking. The shutter 3 is formed with a first abutting part 3c and a second abutting part 3d abutting on the side face IKb of an ignition key IK when locking by the engaging protrusion 6a is released. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
