<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information search apparatus and an information search method that can allows accurate setting of a complicated search condition. <P>SOLUTION: Keyword areas corresponding to selected keywords are displayed in a search setting area. Each keyword area is resized or moved to, for example, overlap others so as to satisfy a condition of medical images that requires the arrangement of the keyword areas. One or more areas formed on the search setting area are designated as search areas. A search condition corresponding to the designated search areas is generated for search. If the combination of keyword areas overlapped by resizing or moving is contradictory, the overlap is canceled to prevent areas having no matching medical images from being designated as search areas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
