<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of facilitating electric wiring works without increasing the number of penetration holes and capable of improving the workability by inserting an electric connection tool into the penetration hole provided on a wall of a house as a hole for penetration of a coolant pipe which connects an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner is equipped with the indoor unit S, the outdoor unit D, the coolant pipe 1 for connecting the indoor unit S and the outdoor unit D, and an electric wiring 2. The air conditioner is equipped with an electric wiring tool 5 provided with a connection element 6 and sockets 7A, 7B provided on the both side parts of the connection element and constructed by electrically connecting these sockets to each other via the connection element. The coolant pipe extending from the indoor unit is inserted into the penetration hole 3 provided on the wall H of the house and connected to the outdoor unit. The electric wiring tool is inserted into the penetration hole to expose the sockets from the wall to the interior side and to the exterior side.
