<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve improved in the detection accuracy of an injection state in the fuel injection valve including a fuel pressure sensor for detecting the fuel injection state. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve includes a nozzle body 20 formed with a nozzle port 22 at its end, and a needle 30, and the nozzle port 22 is opened and closed by seating or separating the needle 30 on or from the seating surface 221 of the nozzle body 20. An annular second fuel passage S is formed between the inner peripheral surface of a body end 220 including the seating surface 221 and the outer peripheral surface of the needle 30, and a suction chamber 222 collecting fuel annularly distributed in the fuel passage S and leading the collected fuel to the nozzle port 22 is formed at the side of the nozzle body 20 downstream of the seating surface 221. A sensor element 80 (fuel pressure sensor) is attached to the outer wall surface 220a of a suction portion 220b, thereby detecting the fuel pressure of the suction chamber 222. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
