FUEL SPRAY APPARATUS FOR GAS TURBINE ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel spray apparatus for a gas turbine engine preventing caulking without increasing the weight of and complicating the apparatus. SOLUTION: The fuel spray apparatus for the gas turbine engine includes: a pilot part 3 for spraying fuel PF to be used for diffusion combustion; a main part 4 provided to surround the pilot part 3 and injecting premixed gas only upon a high load operation; and a shield body 60 constituting a purge air passage PA which takes therein upstream air relative to a fuel injection port 35 of the main part 4 as purge air PA and blows off fuel dripping LF from the fuel injection port 35 toward main air passages 37, 42 of the main part 4. A purge air passage 70 is provided in a position opposite to a main fuel passage 45 communicated with the fuel injection port 35 sandwiching the shield body 60. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
