PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion-proof structure and a corrosion-proof method for a steel sheet pile, which can secure the quality of super long-run durability, excellent impact resistance, etc. by coating a resin corrosion-proof layer with a highly corrosion-resistant metal plate, which can be easily adapted to the case of a large-sized steel sheet pile or a great coating length, and which can enhance on-site constructibility. SOLUTION: Corrosion-proof covering bodies 3 are connected together by welding and joining the highly corrosion-resistant metal plates 33 adjacent to each other. Thus, even in the cases of the large width dimension or great covering length of the steel sheet pile 2, a continuous corrosion-proof protective layer can be made of the corrosion-proof covering bodies 3 connected to each other. Since the individual corrosion-proof covering bodies 3 do not have to be upsized, the rolling width of the highly corrosion-resistant metal plates 33 does not have to be increased, and cost reduction can be achieved by utilizing existing manufacturing equipment. Additionally, since the size of the corrosion-proof covering body 3 can be suppressed, the operations of transporting and mounting the corrosion-proof covering body 3 can be easily performed, and workability under and on the water can be enhanced.
