PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly guide only information matched with the traveling situations of an own vehicle provided from an information center, and to prevent the same type of information from being guided many times immoderately. SOLUTION: When the classification of a road included in attention calling information is not pertinent to the classification of the traveling road of an own vehicle, a controller 10 of a navigation apparatus 3 for a vehicle determines a guidance item as the object of non-notification, and the guidance item is not notified. Furthermore, when the classification of the road included in the first attention calling information is pertinent to the classification of the traveling road of the own vehicle, the controller determines the guidance item as the object of notification, and when both guidance items included in this time attention calling information, which is the second and following attention calling information, and the previous attention calling information are matched, and both road classifications are matched with the classification of the traveling road of the own vehicle, and the secession range of this time attention calling information is overlapped with the guidance range of the previous attention calling information, the controller determines the guidance item as the object of non-notification, and otherwise, the controller determines the guidance item as the object of guidance.
