PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing tube capable of easily recycling a fluorescent lamp and a protecting cover, and to provide a scatter prevention structure for a fluorescent lamp using the same. SOLUTION: A tube body is formed of an elastic material with a short size in an axis direction and having cutout portions 22 in a radial direction, and an inner periphery 21 of the tube body includes a base receptacle 20a which accepts an outer periphery of a base of a rod-like fluorescent lamp and is mounted on one half-portion of an axis direction, a glass tube receptacle 20b which accepts an outer periphery of the glass tube and is mounted on the other half-portion of the axis direction, and an inclined connecting receptacle 20c which connects the base receptacle 20a to the glass tube receptacle 20c. When the cutout portion 22 covers the base and the glass tube by being opened in resistance to its elasticity, the base receptacle 20a adheres to the base, and at the same time, the glass tube receptacle 20b is made to adhere to the glass tube to have a first grip piece 23 and a second grip piece 24 friction-coupled with each other in coupling ranges 23b, 24b.
