PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure detecting device capable of specifying the location to which a pressure is applied. SOLUTION: The pressure detecting device 100 includes a cable 20 having a pair of conductive wires 21, 23, and a resin 22 interposed between the pair of conductive wires 21, 23 and having resiliency; and a measuring device 50. The conductive wire 21 has one end connected to the measuring device 50 and the other end which is an open end, and the conductive wire 23 is grounded. The measuring device 50 includes a connection section 51 connected to the conductive wire 21; a pulse-wave generating section 52 for transmitting a pulse wave to the connection section 51; a voltage detecting section 53 for detecting the voltage change of the connection section 51; a time measuring section 54 for measuring the period, from inputting of the pulse wave into the connection section 51, until the inputting of the pulse wave reflected by the cable 20 into the connection section 51; and an operation section 55 for computing the pressure applied to the cable 20 and a location where the pulse wave is reflected at the cable 20, based on the information from the voltage detection section 53 and the information from the time measuring section 54.
