DRAIN WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purify drain water discharged by drain water discharging equipment at low costs to such a level as to allow discharge as it is. SOLUTION: A drain water purification system 1 introduces discharged drain water, stores continuously in a storage tank 2 and sends to and passes through an oil-water separating means 6 to remove oil contents to a predetermined level or lower. The oil-water separating means 6 consists of at least two filter units 6A and 6B having built-in filters 520 and 530 being exchangeable in the form of a cartridge and connected in series. The filters 520 and 530 have a tubular structure having a peripheral wall composed of a sheet-like filter material, and drain water introduced into the outer periphery of the filters is passed from the outside into the inside of the peripheral wall to capture oil particles and contaminant particles. The filter material is folded in reverse directions on the outer and the inner peripheral surface sides and passed in a reciprocative way in the width direction of the peripheral wall so as to give a chrysanthemum flower-like cross section perpendicular to the central axis of the tubular structure.
