PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment including a cover body having high re-workability. SOLUTION: A cellular phone 1 includes: an inner case 13 (cabinet body 3a) in which an opening 13c (opening 3c) is formed; and a cover body 17 which is attached to and detached from the inner case 13 and closes the opening 13c when attached to the inner case 13. In the inner case 13, a groove 13f is formed that surrounds the opening 13c. The cover body 17 includes an inner part 41 having a packing 49 that is pressed into the groove 13f, and a base 47 partially embedded in the packing 49 and faces the opening 13c when the packing 49 is pressed into the groove 13f. The cover body 17 further includes a first double-coated tape 43A deposited on an outer side surface of the inner part 41, and an outer part 45 stuck to an outer side surface of the double-coated tape 43.
