PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a child seated on a child seat to hold a handle well over a long period of time from the time when he or she is small. SOLUTION: The child seat for bicycles has a seat, right and left pair of seat side walls, and the handle provided between the right and left pair of the seat side walls. In this child seat, upper and lower pair of clamping rails are each provided on the right and left pair of the seat side walls in the longitudinal direction. Engagement bodies, which are fitted movably forward or backward between the pair of clamping rails, are provided on both right and left ends of the handle. The engagement bodies are connected to both ends of the handle rotatably to a fixing position and a fixing release position around a lateral axis. When the engagement bodies are rotated to the fixing position, the engagement bodies are fixed between the pair of the clamping rails immovably in the forward and backward direction. When the engagement bodies are rotated to the fixing release position, the engagement bodies are clamped movably in the forward and backward direction between the pair of the clamping rails.
