PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable spring mattress folded to become compact when transported, carried in or stored, and moreover comfortable to sleep on. SOLUTION: A plurality of mattress constitutive bodies 2 with built-in spring units 4 are connected to form the spring mattress 1 foldable at a connection part 7. A side which is positioned on the lower side in the spread state of the mattress is provided with a shape supporting metal frame line 82 over the whole periphery of the peripheral edge of the spring unit 4 of each mattress constitutive body 2. A side which is positioned on the upper side in the spread state of the mattress is provided with a shape supporting metal frame line 81 at the edge excluding the connection part 7 side to the adjacent mattress constitutive body out of the peripheral edge of the spring unit 4 in each mattress constitutive body 2.
