An ocular lens device including a refractive optics structure formed from a polyolefm copolymer material having a crosslinking component. In the preferred embodiment, the crosslinked polyolefm copolymer material includes: a plurality of constitutional units that include at least one cationically polymerized isoolefm selected from the group consisting of isobutylene, 2-methyl-l-butene, 2-methyl-l-pentene, 2-methyl-l-hexene, and combinations thereof; a plurality of constitutional units that include at least one cationically polymerized olefin monomer having a pendant benzocyclobutene (BCB) group (the crosslinking component), and optionally a plurality of constitutional units that include at least one glass- forming monomer. |
