PURPOSE: An ultrasonic wave multi-line flow meter for attachment to an outer wall is provided to accurately measure the mean velocity of the fluid flowing inside a pipe. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic wave multi-line flow meter(100) for attachment to an outer wall comprises a reference sensor(210) and a circumference sensor(220). The reference sensor is attached to the outer wall of the pipe. The reference sensor is placed on a line in which a plane including the diameter of the pipe and the outer wall surface of the pipe cross each other. The reference sensor sends and receives ultrasonic waves along the plane including diameter of the pipe. The circumference sensor is attached to the outer wall of the pipe along the side of the reference sensor.
