<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct abnormalities (overshoot, undershoot, linking, and response delay) of a laser emission light waveform. <P>SOLUTION: In a laser driving device, a drive signal correction part 690 is provided on the input side of a current output type output stage for driving a semiconductor laser 41 to correct drive current data so that the emission light waveform is close to a rectangular wave as much as possible. In a system configuration to which no correction timing information is transmitted, a correction timing generation part 630 is provided to generate a correction timing pulse from a timing signal indicating a pattern of each power level of the emission light waveform. One of timings corresponding to the emitted light patterns is used as a correction channel CH to generate correction timing pulses of a delay time and a pulse width with a starting edge of the reference channel as the starting point. A correction amount is injected into a normal level to be input into the output stage in an active term of the correction timing pulse and only the normal level is input into the output stage in an inactive term of the correction timing pulse. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
