摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polypropylene film for an extremely thin capacitor having high voltage-resistance at a high temperature, and a metal vapor deposition film for a capacitor using it. SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented polypropylene film has molecule characteristics that difference obtained by subtracting a differentiation distribution value at Log(M)=6 from a differentiation distribution value at a logarithm molecular weight Log(M)=4.5 is 5-15% on a molecular weight distribution curve, and the mesopentad fraction (mmmm) determined by measurement of high temperature nuclear magnetic resonance (high temperature NMR) is≥95%-<98%. In the biaxially oriented polypropylene film for the capacitor is characterized in that the refractive index Nz in a film thickness direction in optical orientation measurement of the film is 1.47-1.50.
