<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein although a mechanism for controlling driving or stopping of a carrier roller is required to stop a paper sheet in middle of transport, for a body of a low end, it is difficult to prepare a mechanism for stopping a paper sheet in the middle of a carrier path due to restriction of arrangement or cost; if paper sheet feeding operation is performed prior to detecting of a paper sheet feed-enabled state, without having the mechanism for stopping the paper sheet in the middle of the carrier path; and when an activation time of each unit is extended under, for example, a low-temperature environment, as image forming cannot be performed, an image desired by an operator cannot be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus starts paper feed operation, even if paper feed-enabled conditions are not satisfied; determines whether a state is an image forming possible state when image forming is started and when activation of each unit is too late and the state is an image formation-disabled state (T707); feeds the paper sheet to a paper sheet re-feed section at a both-side inversion section; feeds the paper sheet again (T710 and T110); and performs image forming. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
