<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor wherein the structural features of a so-called step-type scroll compressor are exploited to suppress the reduction in performance and the occurrence of abnormal noise caused by a torsional moment applied to a turning scroll. <P>SOLUTION: In the so-called step-type scroll compressor 1, in a pair of compression chambers 16 which are symmetrical with respect to a point out of a plurality of compression chambers 16, when sucking of gas is stopped, the volume V1 of the compression chamber 16 formed on a ventral surface side of a stationary scroll lap 14B of a stationary scroll 14 is different from the volume V2 of the compression chamber 16 formed on a ventral surface side of a rotary scroll lap 15B of a rotary scroll 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
