PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of distributing digital content which is used for a media stream to execute finger printing in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The method of distributing digital content includes the steps of: watermarking the digital content; distributing the digital content 121 using a multi-source system 100; and further partially fingerprinting the digital content at each stage 111 of moving information from a point of origin 120 to a viewer 130.
