PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating system preventing deterioration in startability of a power generating part and a work environment of an indoor worker, and improving an environment of the usage of the generated power, even when the power generating part is installed in a cold region. SOLUTION: The power generation system includes: a wall part 1 surrounding a room inside In to partition between the room inside In and the outside Out; the power generating part 2 generating the power, by mixing air of the room inside In into fuel to burn the air-fuel mixture; an outdoor air intake part 4 taking the air of the outside Out into the inside In through an intake path 41; an intake path opening/closing part 5 opening/closing the intake path 41; and a control part 10.
