摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper alloy having high strength, good conductivity and excellent bending workability, and to provide a method for producing the copper alloy. SOLUTION: The copper alloy is produced through a rolling process and contains Si, and Ni and Co which react with Si to produce silicon compounds, Sn and Zn which suppress growth of crystal grains included in the copper alloy, and the balance Cu and inevitable impurities. The mass concentration ratio (Ni+Co)/Si of the total amount of Ni and Co to Si is 4 or more and 5 or less, the mass concentration ratio Ni/Co of Ni to Co is 0.5 or more and 2 or less, a ratio a/b of the major diameter (a) to the minor diameter (b) of the crystal grain in the copper alloy, in a cross section parallel to the rolling direction of the rolling process, is 1.0 or more and 2.5 or less, and the arithmetic mean (a+b)/2 of the major diameter (a) and the minor diameter (b) is not more than 10μm.
