A method, radio network controller, base station and communication system for establishing a feedback channel are provided. The method for establishing the feedback channel includes: receiving the terminal capability information reported from the user equipment (101); configuring the information feedback channel for the uplink data transmission of the user equipment according to the terminal capability information (102); generating the configuration information of the information feedback channel and sending it to the base station (103); sending the configuration information to the user equipment after receiving the base station channel configuration success information (104). Another radio network control method is also provided. The corresponding radio network controller, base station and communication system are also provided. The above methods and apparatus provided by the invention embodiments can realize establishing PCI feedback channel for the uplink MIMO data transmission of the user equipment.
