<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control generation of excessive temperature rise of a fuel cell stack in case of starting a fuel cell below the freezing point and stopping circulation of a coolant passing through a fuel cell stack. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack is of a fixed-size fastening structure, and if and when the fuel cell is started while circulation of the coolant passing through the fuel cell stack is stopped, the temperature inside of the fuel cell is presumed based on a fastening load of the fuel cell, and when the presumed temperature inside of the fuel cell stack exceeds a predetermined temperature, the circulation of the coolant passing through the fuel cell stack is initiated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
