<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test method for investigating the effect of steam entering the envelope of distribution equipment in other form than raindrops or immersion, and of dew arising inside the envelope by the steam. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of hygrometers are installed inside a closed metal panel 5, and a humidifier for raising the humidity within the closed metal panel 5 is installed to raise the humidity. After passage of a specified time, humidities at plural points of the closed metal panel 5 are measured to check the existence of dew within the closed metal panel 5. When dew is condensed, the position of dew condensation and the state of dew are checked. Based on this information, the humidity within the closed metal panel 5, the state (the level of dew condensation) of dew at that humidity, and the effect of the humidity and the state of dew upon the parts are investigated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
