<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which includes a plurality of circuit configuration units each of which is reconfigured into one of a plurality of types of circuit configurations, and fixes a circuit configuration of an optimal type in accordance with the frequency of appearance of pixel data having a certain attribute in a plurality of pixel data and the number of times of switching of the attribute from one to another, thereby reducing an overhead incurred in the switching time. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes a logic circuit having a plurality of circuit configuration planes which reconfigures a logic circuit while the circuit is in operation and a storage part prestored with the switching time for switching the circuit to each logic circuit, and reconfigures the logic circuit in accordance with image processing to be executed. The processing apparatus analyzes attribute for each pixel in image data in order of processing, considers and obtains order of processing of a total switching time for switching a circuit to a corresponding logic circuit for each analyzed attribute, and determines a logic circuit configured into a circuit configuration plane to be fixed on the basis of the total switching time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
