<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair for child-rearing with a head part protection pad capable of easily adjusting a mounting position of the head part protection pad fitting to growth of a child. <P>SOLUTION: The chair 10 for child-rearing includes: a seat part 11 for supporting a buttocks part of the child; a back rest part 12 for supporting the back of the child; and the pad 13 mounted to the back rest part 12. Further, the pad 13 is vertically foldable making a mounting portion 16 to the back rest part 12 as fulcrum, is upwardly folded and is made to an upper position for protecting the head part of the child with high sitting height.
