PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a peep prevention function to a partial area of a display unit, and to notify a user of an area with the peep prevention function set thereto.

SOLUTION: A display device 1 includes a three-dimensional image processing unit 32 for making a display panel 2 display a three-dimensional image, and a viewing angle processing unit 35 for setting a viewing angle in at least a part of a display area of the display panel 2 so as to restrict the viewing angle of the display area. The three-dimensional image processing unit 32 makes the display panel 2 display a three-dimensional notification image for notifying the user that the viewing angle of the display area is restricted, regarding the display area of which the viewing angle is set by the viewing angle processing unit 35.
