<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation device configured such that, even when an air flow hits only the specific part of a photoreceptor drum and temperature unevenness occurs in one round of the photoreceptor drum, evaluation or image formation is started after temperature in one round becomes constant; or to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: On the same circumference around a cylindrical photoreceptor drum, the photoreceptor evaluation device includes: an electrifying means electrifying at least a photoreceptor; an exposure means forming an electrostatic latent image on the photoreceptor; a surface potential electrometer measurement means measuring the potential of the electrostatic latent image; an electricity-removal means exposing the surface of the photoreceptor, to remove a residual charge; an ozone exhaust fan exhausting ozone generated by the electrifying means; and a contactless radiation thermometer measuring the temperature of the photoreceptor. In the photoreceptor evaluation device, a heater for heating the photoreceptor drum is installed in the drum. The photoreceptor evaluation device is configured to start measurement, after the drum is rotated and then the temperature shown by the contactless radiation thermometer becomes constant in one round of the drum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
